Jazz guitarist Eric Skye from Portland was named by 20th Century Guitar Magazine as "one of the best rising stars of the American acoustic jazz scene." This hardworking instrumentalist has built a loyal following as a dramatic and expressive live performer and as a sought-after acoustic guitar instructor, both in Oregon and in the online music community.

He has been featured in magazines such as Acoustic Guitar, Guitar Player, Jazziz, and Jazz Improv, and his music has been heard on NPR! To complement his distinctive personality and playing style, Eric and Richard together designed a beautiful Cocobolo 00 with an Adirondack spruce top.

This Eric Skye Santa Cruz features a unique 24.9-inch scale length for ease of play, a slightly deeper body for extra bass and volume, hot hide glue with Adirondack spruce, scalloped bracing, and distinctive herringbone purfling and ivoroid bindings. This instrument is designed for the painstakingly precise and refined techniques of the most demanding jazz fingerstylists!

This Santa Cruz has only minimal signs of play, particularly on its top, pickguard, and scratches on the back of the headstock. Nevertheless, it looks extremely clean and is still in excellent condition. It comes with a case and TFOA passport.
