For sale is an old Hughes & Kettner 1x12 guitar cabinet, loaded with a Celestion Vintage 30 speaker rated at 8 ohms. This is an older H&K model, though the exact model name is unknown. The cabinet originally featured the Hughes & Kettner logo on the front, but it was damaged, leaving only “GH & KETTN” visible on the grill cloth where the plastic logo pins were inserted. Due to this, I removed the logo, but it does not affect the cabinet's performance in any way.

A distinctive feature of this cabinet is the deep recessed jack socket, which is characteristic of Hughes & Kettner cabinets from this era. The cabinet is well-constructed with a closed-back design, which enhances compression and delivers a focused, punchy tone. It also features a single air vent located beneath the speaker, helping to maintain a balanced sound. I’ve used this cabinet extensively with a Vox AC15 clone in my home studio, and it performed exceptionally well, providing a rich, detailed sound that was perfect for recording.
