One of the reissued swingers is in stock.

Fender's fantastic Swinger has been reissued with the addition of former Fender builder Kunio Sugai.
The Arrow head and distinctive body shape have been brushed up to make it easier to use.
Alder body, medium scale neck, and lacquer finish.
The top has an optional pinstripe.

The top has an optional pinstripe painted on the top.

EžThe following is from the manufacturer's website

Kunio Sugai Profile
Born in Tokyo in 1947, Kunio Sugai began making guitars at the age of 15.
After working for a guitar manufacturing company, he moved to the U.S. in 1970 to work for Fender.
After leaving Leo Fender, he was given heavy responsibility as a general manager, and later founded his own workshop and store "Performance Guitar" in Hollywood.
He has been trusted by many famous musicians such as Jeff Beck, Frank Zappa, Warren De Martini, Joe Walsh, Steve Vai, Michael Schenker, and Tom Morello, and has produced many custom models.

Finish.
Mr. Sugai uses genuine nitrocellulose lacquer paint from the 1960s in his inventory.
The paint is used from the base coat, and the weather checks and color tanning caused by aging should be "one of the joys of owning a vintage-like guitar".
Pinstriping by a renowned craftsman is also available as an option.

Pickups
The pickups are hand-wired one by one by Fender craftsmen of the time, using dead stock enamel coils from the late 1960's. The specifications are the same as those of the time, with a flat-pole pickup.
Flat polepiece, gray bobbin, and DC resistance is set around 6.5kΩ. In addition to the 1PU version of the basic model, a 2PU version is also available.
The 2PU version uses series wiring, which produces a powerful humbucker-like sound when set in the center position.

《Bridge、E
The bridge, one of Swinger's distinctive features, was the type used on Duosonic and Musicmaster guitars from the mid-1960s through the 1980s.
The bridge plate is made from a mold of the original vintage part, and KAMINARI GUITARS has reissued it completely in Japan.
The saddle is a vintage 3-way spiral saddle. The height-adjustment screw is also made with a hard-to-find inch-size flat head screw insert, and every single screw has been carefully selected.

Assembly
The pots are made by CTS, the jacks are made by Switchcraft, and all wiring materials are cross-wired from the USA.
All wiring materials are cross-wired with USA-made crosswires, and the rare 1960s dead-stock NOS ceramic capacitors used by Fender at the time are used.

Head and Body
The original Swinger was accurately measured and the characteristic arrowhead and attractive body shape were completely reproduced.
The thickness of the body has been arranged to be as thick as that of the Mustang, which gives the guitar a more powerful sound.
The wood used for the guitar is high-quality alder, carefully selected and seasoned on the West Coast of the United States.

Neck
The neck is maple with a '63 shape, which is a perfect match for the medium scale. The fingerboard is Indian rosewood.
The truss rod is made of supple and strong steel used for aircraft, and is thicker in diameter than usual, giving the front end a surprisingly smooth and fat sound.
The original Swinger had a short scale, but for playability, a medium scale (22F, B neck) was used.

Hard Case
The hard case included with the guitar was custom-made by G&G in the U.S.A., using a white Tolex type case specially designed for medium scale guitars.
The hard case is custom-made by G&G in the U.S. It is fastened to the neck just like the Mustang cases of the 1960s.
The case also features white tolex, black leather moldings, black leather handles, and an orange inner lining for a vintage look.
It can hold medium scale guitars such as Mustang, Duosonic, Musicmaster, Bronco, etc.
