The Yamaha YTR-8335RC Bb trumpet impresses with its direct playing feel, very versatile sound and enormous projection. The two-piece gold brass bell with French bead rim ensures very good projection of the sound and yet you can hear yourself excellently behind the instrument. The direct playing feel is supported by the light mouthpiece holder and the reversed main tuning slide. A special feature of the YTR-8335RC trumpet is that the support on the main tuning slide can be easily removed. This allows you to choose between more flexibility in response and sound or a better engagement of the notes and more core in the sound. The extremely light bronze lower valve covers support the easy response of the Yamaha Bb trumpet. The thumb hook on the 1st valve slide has been extended to ensure good handling. The 3rd valve slide has an adjustable ring with a heavier locking screw. Instead of a conventional water valve, Yamaha has fitted a split 3rd valve slide. This makes the response cleaner and condensation can be easily drained.
