For sale, wonderful and rare Denon DP-6000 direct drive turntable with custom plinth in plywood, adjustable insulating feet in aluminum and sorbothane KM SOUNDS, Audio Technica AT-1010 tonearm with Phonomac Mk6 upgrade, custom-made plexiglass dust cover + accessories in excellent condition.

The turntable has been tested in all its functions and is in perfect aesthetic and functional condition.

The Audio Technica AT-1010 tonearm benefits from a refined DYNAMIC BALANCE geometry in which the axis of the vertical movement pivot is aligned with the tip of the stylus (in fact the tonearm barrel is positioned higher than the bearing), thus stabilizing the force on the stylus itself in dynamic variations.
Specifically, the tonearm was completely overhauled and upgraded in England benefiting from the "Phonomac Mk6" modding which includes:

• NEW BEARING SUPPORT IN HIGHLY LOADED AIRCRAFT TECHNOPOLYMER IN CARBON FIBER.
• NEW HIGH RIGIDITY SUPPORT SHAFT IN CNC MACHINED STAINLESS STEEL.
  
• NEW HIGHER SPECIFICATION FLANGED BEARINGS WITH NON-CONTACT SEALS TO PREVENT DUST ENTRY INTO THE BEARINGS DURING USE.
• NEW WIRING WITH HIGHLY FLEXIBLE SILICONE INSULATED COPPER LITZ SuperFlex™ KAB CABLE.
• NEW INTERNAL DAMPING SYSTEM OF THE ARM BARREL WITH NEW GENERATION CALIBRATED ELASTOMERS.

The Phonomac Mk6 upgrade with the new resonance damping system combined with the already excellent tonearm characteristics, brings the tracking performance to an extraordinary level, comparable to tonearms costing several thousand euros.
The cost of the upgrade alone is over €800.
