"...The fascination and truth behind the audio-technica AT-1000MC
The audio-technica AT-1000MC is a gold MC cartridge.
Known as one of the most famous cartridges of all time, it was born in 1981.
It features a rare dual voice coil power generation, and its diamond cantilever is pointed on two sides.
The integration of such exceptional technology into an extremely simple design is typical of audio-technica.
Output voltage is 0.1mV/1kHz 5cm/sec, and the playback frequency range is 10 to 50,000Hz, covering a broad spectrum.
Channel separation is 30dB/1kHz, and when considering channel balance, the specification of ±0.5dB or less/1kHz is more than adequate for the function.
Compliance is 12 x 10-6 cm/dyne, with a needle pressure of 1.3-1.6 g and a target value of 1.4 g.
Internal resistance is low (2.5 Ω) to reduce losses...."

I also have an MC elevator transformer from the same brand, Signet 12MK2, which generally accompanied this cell.
