Hand-fitted JJ 5U4GBs are used for voltage rectifier operation, allowing for excellent ambiance and sonic character.
Carefully selected Tung-Sol 6SN7GTBs were implemented for voltage amplification, resulting in further improvements to the soundstage and timbre.
Custom-made Full Music 300Bs with Porcelain bases are used to amplify the repeater, and this design topology (300B + 845) promotes the highest sound quality.
The exclusive global patent 1540 fine mesh DIP was used to manufacture the 300B anode, and together with the graphite plates in the optional PSVane HiFi Series 845, this design provides the fundamental infrastructure for the world-class performance of this limited edition amplifier.
Again, with the PSVane HiFi Series 845 vacuum tubes, these are used in a full Class A Single-ended configuration.
These new 845s have a very special design, with the current for the new filament reduced to 0.6 A - this saves approximately 82% of previous power consumption.
The filament temperature is also reduced to approximately 70%, allowing the entire valve to operate much more efficiently and therefore offering a significant level of additional musicality.
High quality MUNDORF Mcap EVO Silver/Gold capacitors are used throughout the design and with this extremely high level of construction, they are carefully selected to ensure perfect channel matching - levels we have reached with the A-845 Pro (UK) .
A specially designed/custom toroidal transformer and a redesigned El output transformer are used both offer incredible levels of power and stability, with noise levels of ridiculously low proportions - massive power, low impedance, lowest noise and reliable performance - this is the DNA of Cayin designs.
