The Fame Stage Series Shell Set Rock Satin Amber is a premium birch crafted drum set consisting of five shells. In addition to the 22"x17" Bass drum, a 10"x7 " and 12"x8" rack tom and a 16"x15" floor tom are each included, and a 14"x5.5" snare is included as well. All five shells are made of 100% birch wood. The Fame Stage Series drums are made of six layers of wood with a total thickness of 7.2 mm. The 45° bearing edge creates a perfect surface for the Remo heads, which are supplied from the factory. The noble finish is semi-transparent, so you can see the grain of the birch wood shining through, which gives the Fame Stage Series Shell Set Rock Satin Amber a very noble look. The shell hardware is chrome-plated with rubber pads, and the set-color lacquered wooden hoop of the Bass Drum is held by professional cast iron claws with rubber inlays. Both rack toms swing completely freely thanks to the rubber-mounted three-point suspension, which brings out the full sound potential of the birch shells.

All Stage Series drums are made from select birch wood. A total of six layers of wood give a total thickness of 7.2 mm. Birch is one of the most popular materials in drum construction, thanks to its unique sound. Birch is a hard wood, this results in high projection and assertive volume. The sound character is similar to maple, but with shells made of birch, the mid and high frequencies stand out a bit sharper. Combined with the balanced bass, the result is an outstanding frequency mix that is suitable for all playing styles and musical styles.
