Sound Sculpture Switchblade GL – 16 ch audio matrix switcher

A smart buyer usually should regard any claim of an item being "the best" with skepticism, but in the case of the SBGL, you know it's the best in its field, the undisputed champ of anything-to-anything audio switching. If you haven't read up on the details, I suggest browsing the manual – its capabilites are remarkable, and if you're at all like me, you'll realize that those impossible routing schemes that you've dreamed about are possibile with the SBGL plus many other things you haven't even thought about yet. The sale price of new SBGLs was $1,995 in 2020 money.

Very good physical condition, excellent functional condition. I'm the second owner of this Switchblade – though having been racked and unracked a few times by its first owner (as the top panel makes evident), it never has suffered rough treatment and has been babied in my ownership. It is electronically sound and will include a power cable plus a MIDI-to-USB cable for use with the BladeEdit Mac/PC editor.

An operational note: the "up" button on the front panel has a shallow travel when actuated. It functions exactly as it should, but the "feel of a press" is slightly different than the other buttons. I wouldn't call this a fault, just a difference that's noticeable if paid attention. It was demonstrated to me when I bought the SB – it didn’t bother me then and hasn’t since.
