I have for sale a custom made amplifier made for me by 3 Monkeys. This is basically a 100-watt or 50-watt Marshall-style amplifier, and it’s absolutely stunning.
I had this amp on tour with Blind Melon beginning in late-2007. I used it throughout 2008, and it’s been in my studio ever since. It has appeared on a couple of the tracks we released in 2018 - 2020.
This is a very well built amp, if not overbuilt. All of the numbering and lettering is etched by hand into the metal faceplate. When I received it, I was surprised to see the etching on the back, which reads: “Rogers Stevens Model By 3Monkeys 2007.”
The 50-watt versus 100-watt decision is made via a toggle switch on the back. Like all the switches and knobs on here, it makes a loud “clunk” when you flip it—a very heavy duty switch.
This is a one-of-a-kind, very high quality tube amp. I’m happy to answer questions about it—thanks!
