La série ULT allie la dispersion horizontale la plus large de toutes les enceintes de sa catégorie à une dispersion verticale ciblée pour une portée ultralongue. Large couverture horizontale et dispersion verticale ciblée pour une portée supérieure 

Les systèmes ULT12 et ULT15 disposent d’un pavillon rotatif Pivot X110 breveté et d'un boomer de respectivement 12’’ et 15’’ avec une bobine de 2,5’’. Ces deux enceintes sont biamplifiées et alimentées par un puissant amplificateur de 1300 W de classe D. L’ULT12 génère jusqu'à 132 dB SPL, tandis que l’ULT15 délivre jusqu'à 136 dB SPL.

Le pavillon rotatif Pivot X110, breveté Presonus, combine une couverture horizontale ultralarge (110 °) avec une dispersion verticale ciblée (50°) pour une projection supérieure. Le résultat obtenu dans la salle est clair et précis, les premières réflexions qui troublent le son ne sont pas présentes. En outre, la grande taille du pavillon Pivot X110 (11 x 11 pouces) permet de contrôler plus aisément la dispersion du son, chose impossible avec les petits pavillons classiques. Le gain est donc plus cohérent que ce soit dans et hors de l’axe, veillant ainsi à ce que le public sur les côtés ait la même expérience d'écoute que ceux de devant. La reproduction sonore emplit alors de manière parfaite la pièce entière.

Placement horizontal ou vertical pour une large variété d’applications 

Le pavillon Pivot X110 peut être tourné à 90˚, donc les enceintes ULT12 et ULT15 peuvent être montées de manière horizontale, tout en conservant le modèle de couverture de 110˚ x 50˚. Sa taille compacte fait de l’ULT15 un haut-parleur central idéal pour un système LCR ou une utilisation en balcon. Tourner le pavillon Pivot X110 peut aussi aider à fixer les enceintes de façade dans des lieux étroits, en minimisant les premières réflexions pour fournir une couverture plus dirigée. Les préréglages multiangles de l'ULT en font une configuration d’enceinte très polyvalente qui est aussi à l'aise en façade qu’en retour.

Les modèles ULT12 et ULT15 disposent de 2 entrées combo XLR et ¼ pouces TRS : une entrée micro/ligne avec le fameux préampli de micro XMAX PreSonus et une entrée niveau ligne simple. Chaque entrée possède un contrôle de niveau indépendant, permettant de mélanger deux sources audio et d’envoyer ce signal vers d’autres enceintes (daisy-chain). Une sortie séparée pour l'entrée ligne apporte une souplesse supplémentaire.

Entendre mais aussi ressentir

Le subwoofer ULT18 est combiné à un amplificateur de puissance 2000 W classe D et utilise un caisson type bass-reflex avec évent. Le boomer de 18’’ offre un passage d’excursion de 7 mm pour pousser plus d'air et apporter plus de puissance dans le son. Un filtre passe-bas variable vous permet de personnaliser la transition entre l’ULT18 et vos haut-parleurs classiques. Possédant un caisson robuste, une entrée combo et une entrée jack ¼’’ avec sorties directes, le ULT18 est équipé pour une variété d'applications mobiles et fixes.

Toutes les enceintes de cette série disposent de boîtiers légers en bouleau des pays baltes, une grille en acier laqué, des poignées ergonomiques, un connecteur de verrouillage de puissance IEC, et un indicateur d’alimentation en Led sur la façade. Les ULT12 et ULT15 ont des boîtiers multiangles pour une utilisation dans les coins.

PreSonus® ULT10 active loudspeakers combine the widest horizontal dispersion of any loudspeaker in their class with a focused vertical dispersion for an ultra-long throw. The result is even coverage throughout the space, enabling the audience to hear clearly wherever they are. The ULT10’s custom-designed Pivot X110 rotatable horn combines ultra-wide horizontal coverage (110°) for broad coverage with focused vertical dispersion (50°) for superior throw. The result is a loudspeaker that can fill the room without introducing early reflections that muddy the sound. In addition, the Pivot X110 horn’s large size enables it to control the dispersion pattern lower in the frequency range than smaller conventional horns, so it maintains more consistent gain on- and off-axis, ensuring that the audience at the sides has the same listening experience as those in front. The result is sound reproduction that fills the entire room, evenly providing optimal audio.

Mounts horizontally or vertically for a variety of applications.

The Pivot X110 horn can be rotated 90˚, so the ULT10 can be mounted in a horizontal configuration while still maintaining its 110˚ x 50˚ coverage pattern. Along with its compact size, this makes the ULT10 an ideal center-channel speaker for an LCR system or an under-balcony fill. Rotating the Pivot X110 horn can also help fix FOH issues in tall, narrow venues by minimizing early reflections and providing more directed coverage. Add the ULT10’s multi-angle enclosure and presets for live performance, floor monitor use, and music playback, and you have an extremely versatile loudspeaker that is equally at home at front-of-house and as a stage monitor.

Plenty of power and I/O.

The ULT10 is supplied with more than enough power and I/O to handle a wide variety of applications and environments. Its 10-inch woofer is driven by a 500W (continuous), Class D power amp, while the 1.75-inch Pivot X110 horn receives 150W. (Peak power is rated at 1,000W and 300W, respectively.) You get two combo XLR and ¼” TRS inputs: a mic/line input with PreSonus’ acclaimed XMAX™ mic preamp and a line-level-only input. The inputs have independent level control, allowing up to two audio sources to be mixed internally and summed to a balanced XLR output for "daisy-chaining" multiple units. A separate direct output for the line input channel provides additional flexibility.
