Sony ECM-51 Vintage Telescoping Condenser Mic (Ex ABC)

For sale is a vintage Sony ECM-51 Telescoping Condenser Mic. It is in very good condition overall and is completely fully functional. Serial number: 3361.

This microphone comes from a lifelong audio engineer at ABC. It has minimal cosmetic wear consistent with age. It is equipped with a brand new battery and an additional is included along with everything else seen in the photos. The little white cough/mute button works and the mic fully telescopes with no issues. These are famously known for their appearances on talk shows, but are also incredible recordings mics. They are the same internally as Sony ECM-50s. This specific mic really shines on acoustic guitars and vocals in my opinion. The original cable is in excellent condition and has held up well over time.

The original metal case is in fair condition with the original handle present. The locking mechanism is also still functional. The interior foam is missing. Feel free to ask any questions.
