This is a 1920 Gibson F4 Mandolin serial # 58047 in excellent original condition... It was sold in Nashville By George Gruhn in 1999 for $3500 and has been un-played in the Bay area since. No cracks or repairs ever..... It looks to be the original owner signed it under the tail-piece top-plate in Mansfield Ohio... This instrument sounds spectacular and plays just as good..The neck is perfectly straight..Original case is also in excellent condition...
