While most Fender instruments have a relatively modest aesthetic, the American Deluxe series featured some seriously flashy models decked out with figured maple tops. Active Jazz Basses, HSS Stratocasters, and HH Telecasters were all produced between 2004 - 2009, and provide a little more visual pop than your average 2-Tone Sunburst.

Before the American Deluxe series, Fender's Plus, Deluxe Plus, and Ultra lines were the cutting-edge American Fender of the '80s and '90s. Frequently equipped with Lace Sensor pickups, and new technologies like roller nuts, the Fender's Plus and Plus Deluxe models came in a wide variety of styles and finishes over their decade plus run.
