Available only at Fender Flagship Tokyo and the official Fender Online Store, this guitar is a limited-edition masterpiece.The overall aesthetic adopts a monotone finish inspired by the world of the original 1954 Godzilla film. The alder body is topped with myrtlewood, dyed in a deep, rich black and completed with a gloss finish to evoke Godzilla’s immense, commanding presence.The neck features a Modern “C” shape and 22 medium jumbo frets, while the 12th fret is boldly adorned with the Godzilla logo, delivering a striking visual impact.In terms of sound, every detail has been fine-tuned for intensity and expression. Pressing the Tone 2 knob activates the built-in distortion circuit. The guitar also features a patented “G.L.O – Gain-Linked Optics” system (patent pending), in which the luminosity of the backlit Godzilla dorsal fin on the pickguard changes according to the level of distortion. As the gain increases, the dorsal fins glow brighter—visually recreating Godzilla’s iconic moment before unleashing his radioactive heat ray, adding both visual and sonic drama to your performance.Equipped with a specially developed “Custom Godzilla Humbucking” pickup, the Godzilla Stratocaster delivers an awe-inspiring heavy tone.
