Selling this modified Ibanez RGA42FM in very good condition a for a very reasonable price, regarding the upgrades it received. The previous owner had the glossy finish removed and then polished, which resulted in a very nice matte, but still resonant surface.
He also installed locking tuners, but I am not sure which brand they are. They look like Sperzel, but I am not certain they are. However, tuners are working very good and properly lock on the strings.
Since I didn't like the original pickups, I swapped them with a set of Haven Pickups. It's the passive Rusty Nail set, which is passive and has a lot of tight low end and a great mid-emphasis.
The guitar is currently set up in Drop C with D'Addario strings 011-056, which work very well for that kind of tuning.
