1940s Jenco Celeste Vintage Celestette Glockenspiel Table Top Keyboard w/Original Lid Prop! Celesta

For sale is this vintage 1940s Jenco Celeste table top keyboard. This particular example, serial number 15, is in very excellent all original condition and includes a possibly original lid prop/stick. This example has been completely serviced; hammers and dampeners both adjusted, action regulated, and internally cleaned. These are very sensitive handmade instruments, with each celestette being adjusted with custom shims from the factory. This one has been dialed in, and while the action isn't quiet, it is consistent. We use this all the time in the studio, and it sounds great with the lid down, with the lid up, or with the lid being waived to match the tempo of a tune, to achieve a natural vibrato. Over the years, these have sold for $1,000-$4,000+, and while intrinsically there isn't much value, it's such a valuable commodity in the studio.
