This is a beautiful old hollowbody archtop guitar built by Kay in Chicago during the 1950's. It has an arch Maple top and arch Maple back and sides. The headstock displays a large, metal "Kelvinator" style headstock badge. This guitar even still has it's original pickguard which is becoming a very rare thing on these vintage guitars. It has a nice soft V shape neck with very comfortable, low action on the fret board.
The original finish on this guitar is in amazing condition for it's age. It still has a high gloss shine with very little wear showing. We handle a lot of these mid-century American made guitars and rarely find them in such nice condition.

The lower bout is 15.5" wide and the body is 20" long with a 3.75" depth at the edge. The scale length is 25.5" with a nut width of 1-5/8". The chipbaord case pictured is included. It is becoming increasingly rare to find these guitars in such nice condition. This would be a cool piece to add to your collection and a great old guitar to play. Make it yours today!
