Amazing archtop
Hofner President from
1957. Plays and
sounds great. Only one fret buzzs and needs to be refitted (check the pics.) Some wear on the fretboard and chips here and there, but in very good condition for a 60+ years old guitar. Just the 20th fret needs a better setup. It is the same model that
George Harrison used in the early days. Even Jimmy Page in the fifthees (with his skiffle band) used it. It's a true masterpiece.
The guitar has installed a vintage and rare 1956 Fuma manufactured Hofner Air Coil pickup Type 1505 Gr (early 512) with integral volume control. No pickguard.
Hardcase included.
