Variable Voice Control installed, and includes a custom Studio Slips double-padded bag.This is a truly unique instrument. I loved the feel of the dual-capstan action on the Vintage Vibe, but I wanted a more authentic vintage Rhodes tone. So I installed a complete set of original Fender Rhodes tines and pickups along with an original restored Peterson-era preamp.To fit the original preamp circuit board, the variable tone control had to be relocated. That accounts for the unconventional front-panel layout—you can see the tremolo lights through the original slider openings.The sustain pedal is held in place by a custom Ken Rich Lock n Rok lightweight pedal brace. I’m a piano technician based in the Buffalo / Western New York area. I’ve been tuning and repairing acoustic pianos for over a decade and restoring Rhodes and Wurlitzers for even longer.
