Selling my 2000 Taylor 615ce as I just don't play it much anymore. I bought it in this condition. Yes, its beat up but has a classic/relic vibe. Priced Accordingly. I was assured from Guitar Center it was professionally repaired and you can feel inside there is evidence or repair glue/putty/support that is supporting the cracks. It plays absolutely fantastic, great action and sounds awesome. Nice big bright but full sound. I added Ebony tuning machines, have the originals and my put the originals back on and keep the ebony ones depending on offer. Comes with original case that is very beat up but still protects the guitar. I suepect this came from an active live performing musician. From the internetThe 2000 Taylor 615ce is basically Taylor’s jumbo workhorse from that era — big, bright, and super clean‑sounding. It’s got a Sitka spruce top paired with flame maple back and sides, so the tone leans crisp and punchy, great for strumming or anything that needs clarity in a mix. The jumbo body is huge (about 17 inches across), but the cutaway keeps it easy to get up the neck. The neck is hard rock maple with an ebony fretboard, so it feels smooth and fast. Gold Taylor tuners round it out with a classy look. It’s a long 25.5" scale with a 1‑3/4" nut, so there’s plenty of room for fingerstyle if you want it.Comes with Taylor’s old Fishman Blender system — the one with the internal mic and under saddle pickup you can blend together. It’s a bright, articulate setup that works really well for live playing or studio tracking.Other little details: ebony bridge, white binding, and a body depth just under five inches. Maple Taylors from this era often had really pretty figuring, too, so a lot of these look as good as they sound.
