The TAKAMINE GF30CE Natural Gloss is a high-quality folk-sized guitar that "fits" players of all sizes and is an excellent choice for players looking for great sound in a more compact package. With a Spruce top for brightness and high-end articulation, and the Mahogany-like response of Okoume, the profile of the GF30CE is a nice blend of detail and warmth. In comparison to a Dreadnaught the shallower body depth and curvy proportions enhances the touch sensitivity upper midrange response, making the GF30CE ideal for finger picking and those with a lighter touch.
Takamine pioneered high performance acoustic guitar electronics in the late 70's and to this day designs and builds their own electronics. The built-in TP-4T electronics delivers solid performance, 3-band EQ with 9-12dB of boost/cut, built-in tuner, and a quick-change battery compartment (see attached specs).
