About this model
The Steinberg AXR4T is a Thunderbolt 2 audio interface built for studio tracking and mixing. It offers 12 analog inputs, including 4 XLR/TRS combo inputs with Yamaha AXR hybrid preamps featuring Rupert Neve Designs SILK emulation, alongside 8 analog outputs and 16 digital inputs and outputs via ADAT, S/PDIF or AES/EBU. It records at 32-bit integer depth and up to 384 kHz, uses SSPLL jitter reduction, and includes onboard DSP effects such as REV-X Reverb, a Sweet Spot Morphing Channel Strip, VCM Compressor 276 and VCM EQ601. It also provides MIDI I/O, Word Clock In/Out, two independent headphone outputs, and supports daisy-chaining of up to three units for larger setups. It requires its external power supply and ships with dspMixFx AXR mixer software and Cubase AI.
