The Bard is a real tube tremolo from Kingsley Amplifiers. A bias-modulating circuit built around a single Tung-Sol 12AX7 produces warm, classic sine-wave tremolo, like the amp-style throb you'd get from a vintage combo. The pedal converts standard 9V DC internally to 6.3 V for the tube heaters and 275 V for the plates, so the tube runs at real high voltage for a full, dynamic sound.
**What V3 adds:** The V3 keeps the V2 feature set, including the mini switch for two speed ranges, and adds some refinements. The output is now in phase with the input (V1 and V2 were out of phase), there's more headroom before clipping, the Depth taper is smoother, and switching is quieter.
