1977 Gibson LP Deluxe up for grabs here. This one is probably what would be considered upper tier player‘s grade. All electronics are original. No breaks. The neck is perfect. Very little fade to the color. As far as what’s not original…..The tuners have been replaced. When I got the guitar, I noticed that a couple of bushings were lifting slightly. Upon further investigation, I discovered that someone had started to ream the peg head holes and then changed their mind…. I dunno.….I was pissed but I liked the guitar, so I finished the job. So the peg head holes have been reamed from 9.5mm to 10mm, which means all modern tuners will work with the guitar now. I sourced some mid 80‘s Grover Rotomatics and installed them on the guitar. The original Schallers will be included in case someone wants to restore it back to stock. The original bridge was in rough shape, so I replaced it with a new Gibson Nashville. The original will be included. A new switch tip is on the guitar. The repaired original is included. Two pick guards will be included. The repaired original and an aftermarket I never installed. The jack plate has also been replaced with a metal one. Original frets show moderate wear, but all notes still ring out cleanly. It‘s a tank of a guitar at just over 10 pounds, but it will probably still be rocking another 50 years from now. Comes with a 90‘s Gibson case with all functioning latches. Shipping to lower 48 only.
