About this listing
Hi folks, for sale an amazing slabboard early dated March 1962 Fender strat with a very old (maybe 70s) nitrocellulose refinish in fiesta red that meanwhile aged to a gorgeous red/pinky colour. headstock was also sprayed in a very thin coat of nitrocellulose enough to protect the original headstock decal from peeling...bridge pick up was rewound to its original specification using the original pickup wire thus still preserving t's true pre-cbs original sound. Neck has a very low action, guitar is completely original except for a refinish and rewound bridge pickup but done with its original wire. The 3x pots set read 304-6209 , dowel marks (plugs) , nail holes, all in place. Guitar weights 3.7kg (see photo) pickups measure bridge 5.73, middle 5.88, neck 6.21 (see photos) . Please study photos thoroughly to get a better idea of the given description and guitar condition. This is an amazing guitar with a true pre-cbs sound that no aftermarket guitars can get close. Yes the 3-way original switch is still in place....Guitar will be shipped with an early vintage 70s fender case (Fender tail logo) that has been completely restored to an excellent condition. Reverb fee (5%), Paypal fee (3.4%) currency conversion fee (3%) is included in the price.Guitar only ships to Europe and will be done with UPS transport company only. Please don't waste yours and my time with absurd questions the description tells the real story and photos removes any doubts, this is the real deal and yes this guitar was assembled body and neck in the pre cbs fender factory no partcaster as a few interested people asked me....one gets tired of replying to stupid questions....Best of luck ;)
