Fender Custom Shop 1952 Telecaster Relic HS Black -2010- Custom made '52 Telecaster is now in stock! Standard wood materials of ash for the body and 1-piece maple for the neck. The head is equipped with Kluson-type unmarked 6-tuners, "Fender" spa logo, "TELECASTER" decal, and "Fender Custom Shop" decal on the back of the head. The one-piece maple neck with 4-point detachable set neck, which was the norm in 1950, is stamped with "NOV 23 2010" date, uses 21 vintage-type frets, and the neck shape is slimmer than the regular '52 Telecaster. The neck shape is slimmer than the usual '52 Telecaster, and the fingerboard radius is 7.25R. The front pickup is a Seymour Duncan SH-1N and the rear is a non-studded black bobbin. The bridge is a vintage reissue with "FENDER PAT.PEND." and serial number engraved on it and a brass 3-way saddle. The pickguard is a 1-Ply Bakelite white guard. Distortion has occurred on the 6th string side, which is common for this year. The color is an elegant black, and the guitar has been reliced to reproduce vintage-style weather checks and dents. There are almost no scratches other than those from the relic process, but the frets are heavily worn with about 60% wear remaining, and there are some string press marks from the 1st to the 4th fret.
