The Electro-Harmonix "Small Black Russian" (V8) Big Muff takes the classic Sovtek fuzz circuit and packs it into a tougher, more compact black enclosure. Known for its darker, grittier voice compared to the typical NYC Big Muff, it delivers thick sustain with a mids-heavy grind that cuts through many a mix. The smaller footprint makes it easier to fit on a pedalboard, while still retaining the raw, woolly character that made the Russian series so sought after.
