This is the original Flock Audio Patch digitally controlled, 64-point analog patchbay. Aside from some minor scratches (shown in attached pictures, with a few other very superficial marks caused by racking/unracking the unit that do not show up well in pictures), this unit is in superior condition. It functions flawlessly, providing 32 ins and 32 outs of incredibly flexible, intuitive connections for analog studio gear. This is an incredible upgrade from old-style, manual patchbays. The Next-generation Analog Patchbay with Full Digital Control
The Flock Audio Patch is a digitally controlled analog patchbay with hardware and software components that allow you to control equipment chain routings throughout your studio with flexibility and recall capabilities never before possible — no patch cables required! The hardware consists of a 64-point analog patchbay in a rugged 1RU chassis with I/O arranged on rear-panel DB-25 connectors. Control over patchbay assignments and routings is carried out from Patch App, easy-to-use Mac/Windows software that communicates with the patchbay via USB. In Patch, no audio is ever converted to digital — all channels running through it remain in the analog domain and only the patchbay routings are altered digitally. Patch gives you the advantages of both worlds — pure analog audio with full digital, computer-based control. This allows Patch App routings to be instantly stored and recalled.
The Patch hardware offers a few cool extras. Two input and output connectors, Channels 31 and 32, are located on front-panel 1/4-inch-XLR combi connectors, so you can instantly patch equipment into your system. These are swappable in software between front and rear panel connectors. And 32 of the Patch’s connections can be supplied with switchable 48V phantom power for microphones that require it. All of this — and more — is controlled through Flock Audio’s companion Patch app.
