For sale is an Alesa long-neck open back banjo. Alesa banjos are heirloom quality instruments handmade in northern Italy. More information can be found here: alesabanjos.com.
This banjo, made in 2020, features a walnut neck and 12" rim, Silver Bell tone ring, Renaissance head, ebony fretboard, dowel stick, Gotoh tuners, Hawktail tailpiece, brass hardware and three railroad spikes. Banjo is in excellent condition, with virtually no fretwear and minimal signs of use, mostly some patina on the brass rim, some finish on the neck worn off due to capo use, and a mark where one railroad spike was removed. Originally purchased for over €2000. Comes with a hardshell Deering case.
