Neve 8068 Vintage 70's Console - Neve Grey

For sale is a Vintage Neve 8068 console/frame.
The console is being sold intact, minus the 31102 EQ's. Loaded as per pictures.
This is a MKI. Loaded with 32 each Buss/amp modules ( 32408), 31 each Aux/Switching modules (32404). 32 channel P+G's, 1 Stereo P+G. The add on fader panel with 10 faders is not connected at the present time.
6 each PSU's all working, includes AC+DC cables.
Original manual with lots of schematics and previous technicians notes on service etc.
Although it was recently pulled from a working environment- the console will need some work for sure. We had to remove the patchbays from the looms as the load out from the studio was extreme and the bays had to come off. The break out and wire numbers are in tact-so resoldering will not be too difficult. We suggest ditching the TRS bays for new TT's or at least add interrupts (elco/DL/Dsubs) so the bays can be disconnected for service and logistical concerns.

I would order new plastic guide rails for all the modules- I have most of the originals but they are brittle and dried out and in need in of replacement they are available in the UK.

I am including 3 bench test jigs for : 31102,32408,32404. this will help emmensely with service of the console.

The console is available for physical inspection but as the bays are off and there are no 31102's, we cannot plug in to test. You are welcome to visit and inspect-we encourage you have a look at the console. Delivery can be arranged, we might be able to deliever to you without needing crating and regular freight etc. Please enquire. Local pickup is encouraged.

If you are considering a vintage Neve, this console can be resurrected and loaded with reissue 1073/1084's etc or possibly have one of the companies that makes "reissues" manufacture 31102's for you. at a fraction of the cost of vintage 31102's.
IF YOU WANT A SECTION OF THE CONSOLE; it would be possible to sell sections of this console. I can sell the 12 channel sections complete- frame, meters,internal wiring,PSU's, faders,32404's,32408 modules,external XFRMRS, complete 12 channel section. If I can get 2 takers for the 2 each 12 channel sections I will carve it up. $37,000 per 12 channel bucket section complete.
