Luxman C-300 Vintage Deluxe Preamp Fully Recapped and Serviced

This top-of-the-line Luxman C-300 pre-amplifier (control amplifier) is in beautiful condition, manufactured in 1983 at the peak of the Japanese golden age and just before Alpine took ownership of the company. A very well designed and constructed vintage preamp with dual MM/MC phono stage inputs, interesting tone controls with useful turnover points for bass and treble, plus the usual line level inpus for AUX, TUNER, and Tape Loop. This gorgeous C-300 has been completely overhauled and restored using carefully selected parts to it's original factory specifications:

• Dual power regulators serviced to factory spec to ~1.0mv accuracy.
• DC offset for MC and Line outputs were adjusted to factory spec with precision trimmers ~4.0mV.
• ALL electrolytic capacitors were replaced using select audio grade ELNA SILMIC II, Nichicon, Panasonic and WIMA parts.
• New sealed protection relay and new Bourns multi-turn precision trimmers.
• AC line safety caps upgraded with new RIFA parts complying to IEC 60384-14 X1/Y2 safety standards and providing better EMI / RFI suppression and filtering.
• Cleaned & polished faceplate, knobs, lubricated switches, removed glue and debris.
