The Fender Custom Shop do some pretty special things, and with the Custom Shop '69 Stratocaster they really push the boundaries of Leo Fenders vision.

With a traditional Alder body this guitar is super resonant and has a really bold tone. The Super Heavy Relic'd Black finish gives the appearance of a well-loved and gigged guitar, it's totally authentic and really cool. The level of attention to detail that has been applied to this guitar is simply out of this world!

The neck is crafted from Quartersawn Roasted Maple and features a 60 Style Oval "C" profile, it's real comfortable and with a 12" radius and 22 Jumbo frets it's smooth and at home playing slick runs and crisp chords right up the neck. The AAA grade Rosewood fingerboard adds a touch of luxury and perfectly complements the cool vibe.

With Schaller Tuners and a non-recessed Floyd Rose tremolo, this is a guitar that can really take some abusive playing and still leave your tuning rock solid!

One of the defining features of this guitar is the choice of pickups! It's loaded with a pair of Hand Wound 59 Strat pickups and a powerful EVH Frankenstein bridge humbucker! With a massive tone, these pickups are great for players who like everything turbo charged, with huge sonic flexibility and fat, high output tone, these little beauties are up there with the very finest pickups on the market.
