Nice looking, sounding and playing old school bowl-back mandolin. This one has no name or markings, not unusual for such an old instrument. Not sure if this is a vintage US or Italian piece. It has had a top crack and small open seam (top meeting the back near the tailpiece) repaired in our shop. Strung with D'addario EJ74s, sound is bright, balanced with a fair amount of bass. The back wood strips are really nice looking and the pickguard appears to be wood veneer. Tuners work well. No case but it will be packed well and is ready to play.
