Remo Drum Heads

Remo drumheads are still the industry standard in selection and durability. You'll never go wrong with one of the most recorded drumheads in rock & roll history. A Remo Ambassador always gets the job done. The company was founded by Remo Belli in 1957 and is well-known for their successful WEATHERKING series. Throughout the 1960s, Remo fought to gain market acceptance, as purist jazzmen preferred the sound of natural calfskin. However, these calfskin drumheads had to be frequently tuned with weather fluctuations. Belli created convenience for professional drummers when he pioneered the use of Mylar, a synthetic polyester film for drumheads.
