The Mesa Boogie Subway D-800 bass head stuffs tons of power and classic Mesa tone into a lightweight amp that can fit into a backpack or the pocket of your gig bag, perfect for a busy city musician. A hefty 800 watts by way of a modern Class-D power section can fill any size room, from the smallest club to the biggest halls.
Taking pages from the entire playbook, the Subway D-800 pulls circuits and inspiration from their vintage tube monoliths as well as the MOSFET-driven M9 Carbine amps while producing a sound all its own. The four-band EQ and "VOICING" dial give you tons of control over your sound, and you can easily switch from bass to bass throughout the show thanks to the "ACTIVE/PASSIVE" switch, making the Subway D-800 one of the most versatile bass heads on the market, regardless of size.
