This early model differs from the larger, heavier later model in terms of case, circuit board, and op-amp specifications. While the later model is highly sought after and has driven up prices, the sound is virtually identical, albeit with subtle differences. Its exquisite midrange and mild boost effect with just the right amount of compression give the original sound a rich, rich tone.
