Gibson Les Paul Gold top with Lollar p90s and Bill Callaham cold-rolled steel bridge. Tribute 2011.This is an excellent guitar with significant upgrades which is priced to sell. It has the most lovely mahogany body with a maple cap which looks like binding. It has a few dings from being in a studio with stoned musicians but is starting to check and looks the real deal. It's not quite clear on the photos but around the treble side post is also some paint chipped away, done before I bought the guitar. If you blow up pic 4 you should be able to see it.It plays beautifully and the upgrades have turned it from a really good guitar to a great guitar.It has a 60s slim neck, Lollar p90s, Bill Callaham cold-rolled steel bridge and improved electronics using Mojotone PIO caps and improved wiring. It also features an aluminium tail bar that can be replaced with steel if you wish - I will add it.It also features cold rolled steel pickup mounting plates, but the originals are in the hard case, as is the scratch plate if you want it back on. The zinc mounting plates are a little duller I expect.I put these components on for a bright resonant guitar which gives that extra 5% that quality components give. My thinking is, it's always easier to dial back treble then add treble which also adds fizz to the sound.This is a top professional guitar at an affordable price and a Gibson badge Comes with a hard case.
