About this listing
The nitrocellulose finish has checking from top to bottom. There is minor nitro burn at the belly contour and on sides of the nut from being stored on a non-nitro-safe guitar stand. There are a handful of small dings. Seymour Duncan poles have light oxidation. The low E locking Grover tuner no longer locks but functions perfectly as a traditional tuner. FYI Grover tuners do carry a lifetime warranty; we simply did not have time to contact them for a replacement. Outside of that, this is a stunner! The original Alpine White finish is aging beautifully into the coveted TV Yellow hue that vintage Alpine White Gibson® guitars are famous for. All of the electronics remain original and untouched. The frets are in fantastic condition. As part of our standard Norlin® Custom Shop restoration process, the guitar received a comprehensive deep cleaning, nitrocellulose polish, fret polish, fingerboard conditioning, electronic contact cleaning and a fresh set of Ernie Ball® Regular Slinky strings installed to factory specifications. When the guitar arrived, it wore a collection of non-original hardware. Our technicians carefully returned it as close to factory-correct as practical using premium OEM replacement components while preserving its original character.
