For Sale is a Gibson Custom Shop Firebird V ’63 Reissue. Brought over from the Japanese market to the US. It is relic’ed out of the Custom shop and has continued to age very naturally. It has a stunning grain pattern on the wing that makes it a rare find.Firebirds have a unique sound of their own among classic guitars. They are readily described as “Tele on steroids“ which is true of vintage firebirds. This reissue runs hotter than the originals But still gives you that unique, bigger than life singlecoil-like Firebird sound.The Banjo tuners pegs have been changed for weight relief of the headstock. The knobs have been changed to black and smooth silver top hats. Original parts are included.
