This would make an excellent microphone for speech just like the RE55, and 635A. This DO56 is quite a bit harder to find since it is the long barreled version designed for reporters and quite a bit more uncommon. The DO56 has more low end compared to something like an EV 635A, which makes a better choice for voice in my experience. Last thing to note is the foam inside this microphone has been replaced, so you will not have to worry about a single thing! This microphone was well cared for and will work beautifully for the new owner. Thanks for looking!
