Andy Martin is back, and just in time to close up 2022 with a roundup of his favorite new pedals released this year. As usual, the pedals he was inspired by span a wide range of effects categories, from meaty fuzzes to dual echos, octave modulators, and feature-packed multi-effects.
Two MXR-related pedals made his list this year: the Poly Blue Octave and the more recently released Double Down pedal, made in collaboration with Third Man Records. Other bestsellers to make Andy's list are the Keeley Halo Andy Timmons Signature Dual Echo and EarthQuaker Device's budget-friendly Special Cranker.
