Brand new for this year, Orange has just released the OR30—an all-tube amp made entirely in the United Kingdom.
The vintage-inspired head increases the volume and headroom from previous entries in the series, with 30 watts of power driven by four EL84s. The OR30 can definitely get loud—but if you're looking for quieter practice, just flip the switch on the back panel from "headroom" to the two-watt "bedroom" setting for the same excellent tone at lower volumes.
New for the OR series, this amp also features an independent foot-switchable volume control, as well as a three-way bright switch that will suit any pickup type and pedal. The OR30 also features extensive options for EQing your ideal tone, as well as a buffered effects loop for keeping your pedal tones defined.
