IK Multimedia, makers of innovative hardware and software music gear like the iRig mobile recording interfaces, has entered the analog synth market with the portable and affordable UNO Synth. The news comes ahead of this week's Superbooth 2018 synth convention in Berlin.
Retailing for just $199 USD, the UNO features 2 VCOs, a noise generator, and a resonant multi-mode filter. It has an 10-mode arpeggiator, a step-sequencer, and a 27-note keyboard, along with 100 presets.
The two analog oscillators are capable of saw triangle, and pulse waveforms, while the filter is capable of LFO and band-pass modes. As with all IK products, the UNO is made in Italy.
