AIWA Excelia XK-009 + Original Remote

For sale the legendary XK-009 Excelia by AIWA.

Made in Japan for Japanese internal market (the branding on the front differs).

It was not used frequently, so its visual condition is very nice for its age. It has a few insignificant marks here and there. No deep scratches on the cover or cracks on plastic parts. Professionally serviced around 2019, still operates well. I did some basic checks - playback/recording/rewind all works fine. No weird noise, mechanics are very quiet. All buttons respond normally. I was not able to find anything that is broken or missing from the looks of it.

Includes a remote. It was operated in the EU power grid with a step down transformer, which is not included with the sale (an inexpensive isolating transformer from amazon, which you can easily buy yourself).

If you would like it to be shipped - it will be packed extremely well in a thick carton box with bubble layers and so on. However, due to the deck being quite heavy (I think 10+ kilo), I will accept no claims related to shipping, transportation damage, or proper functioning of the device, as it probably has fragile mechanics inside. All risks are yours, unless you would like to pick it up yourself in person. For the same reasons - no returns or refunds, you are welcome to check it in person if you have any concerns.
