10-course Renaissance lute by Belgian master Raymond Passauro Zuccaro from 1968.
Well-preserved, with some signs of age and wear, in the original case.
Labeled inside, 8-plank body. One tuning peg has been replaced. Beautiful carvings on the peghead and rosette.
Passauro is one of the grandfathers of historical lute making, and his lutes are considered master instruments. One of them can be seen in the Edinburgh Museum of Instruments.
Length 77cm, scale length 60cm, nut width 90mm.
Strings need to be replaced.
