When connecting your guitar to the VE-2 harmonizer, Auto Harmony detects the chords and key you are playing and automatically generates the appropriate harmony as you sing – it’s that simple! If you're not playing guitar, a guitarist from your band can connect instead, or you can manually set the song’s key using the front panel potentiometer. The hybrid mode provides the best of both worlds, following the chord progression played on the guitar as well as the manually set configurations. This makes it an ideal solution when you are both playing and singing simultaneously – if the guitar chords move outside the key, manual settings will be applied instantly.

Thanks to these three intuitive methods, you can achieve natural, stable harmonies without any prior knowledge of electronic equipment or music theory.

With twelve types of harmonies available in the VE-2 harmonizer, you can always find one that fits your music style. Harmony types can be easily selected using a dedicated switch on the front panel, including single or dual-voice harmonies with varying intervals above and/or below the lead vocal. Additionally, each type features variations, offering extra voices for even fuller harmonies, ranging from slightly colored to a rich ensemble sound.

The user-friendly interface simplifies operation, making the VE-2 incredibly intuitive, even for vocalists without experience with such equipment. Button and knob-based controls allow for great sounds to be achieved easily, while handy LED indicators show current settings at a glance. The integrated multifunction footswitch allows you to turn harmonies on and off or completely bypass the VE-2 during play, with the option of connecting up to two additional footswitches. Furthermore, you can save three favorite sounds in internal memory and recall them at the touch of a button.

You no longer need to rely on a sound engineer to make your voice sound great – everything you need is in the VE-2 harmonizer. The [ECHO] knob offers high-quality reverb or delay options, or a combination of both effects, all easily adjustable via a dedicated potentiometer. Pressing the [ENHANCE] button once gives your vocals a polished, studio-quality sound, while a second press fine-tunes the pitch for stable harmonies. The XLR input allows you to connect various types of microphones, including studio-quality condenser mics that require phantom power. Phantom power is available even when the VE-2 runs on battery, enabling the use of condenser mics wherever you perform.

Simply connect the harmonizer to your computer via USB and use your preferred software to record your voice with harmonies and effects. Besides music creation and songwriting applications, this feature also allows vocalists to effortlessly achieve impressive vocals when recording videos for social media. The LOOPBACK function enables mixing sound from your computer with your microphone sound, making it easy to record songs with accompaniment from tracks played back from your computer or while using karaoke.
