The Buffet Crampon Prodige alto saxophone (BC8301) is a modern instrument which is the result of an extraordinary project. It combines digital design (C. A. D. ) and traditional know-how. It completes the Prodige series, which was specially developed for students but also offers a solid foundation for years of progress. The scale of the body was modelled on the legendary Buffet Crampon Senzo from the professional league. Special attention was paid to the needs of young saxophonists. The Prodige Sax is therefore somewhat lighter than other models. However, these savings are hardly at the expense of the sound and the response is very easy in all registers! The mechanism is also designed so that it is easy for smaller hands to grasp. The slightly lower side keys (palm keys) are particularly noticeable here. The robust instrument, with its partially reinforced action, also stands up well to somewhat rougher handling. The practical and sturdy case with rucksack straps makes transport easier and protects against possible hard knocks and temperature fluctuations.
