Wampler's Faux Tape Echo has a reputation for producing a very convincing tape echo simulation. The warm, round base in combination with the various possibilities of regulation has made the Faux Tape Echo a real classic. The pedal is in the category "analog voiced digital delay" with 100% analog signal path - the unchanged original signal is added to the echo repetitions. The current V-2 version has received 2 updates: the input and output jacks are space-saving on the front of the housing and the true bypass switch is relay-free. The echo repeats can be played in 4 different note values.
