For sale: The Philips N2540 is a vintage stereo cassette recorder with a distinctive top-loading design, analogue level meters and separate left/right recording level controls.

This example has been serviced, with the tape heads cleaned, and presents as a nice original vintage unit. The deck features automatic tape selection, automatic stop and straightforward mechanical transport controls.

Cosmetic condition:

• Some light cosmetic wear and small marks consistent with age
• A few minor scuffs are visible on the silver outer casing
